19 more days till' opening day for teal and can't hardly wait! The boys have been working hard (EVERYDAY! Hours after work!) on the property pumping lots of water, planting rice and creating moist soil managed fields! Me? I've been getting the dogs ready and working on all the office work for Fowl Talk. Which I can't complain because it lets me include shopping and Max-4! Two of my favorite things!This season is already looking good with lots of teal and mottled ducks on the coastal Texas property! o been getting LOTS of unseasonal rain up in our part of Central Texas so can't wait to make the drive up there and check it out soon!!!The mosquitoes are something else this year! Big, mean suckers!! We need start stocking up on the deet now for Sept. 13th or start soaking our camo in it because I'd much rather be hearing the buzzing of teal's wings than the buzzing of mosquitoes!!
